A DWWA medal is a mark of excellence, signifying that our wines have been objectively evaluated and recognized by top-tier professionals for their quality. As sommelier and judge Amanda Wassmer-Bulgin noted, the DWWA results serve as “the perfect little guidebook” for both the trade and consumers.

For the 2024 edition, the competition brought together a distinguished panel of 243 leading wine experts, including 20 Master Sommeliers and 61 Masters of Wine, representing 33 countries. This esteemed group blind-tasted a total of 18,143 wines from 57 countries.
